Hunab Ku

The essence of CognitiveOS Hypnosis™

Luca saw the Hunab Ku sign in a vision. In this vision it represented the concept of a God above religons. Luca adopted the symbol as his commitment to work and live in the name of God. To Luca, strict belief in the Mayan mythology is not the essential core. Luca believes the Hunab Ku symbol is the quintessential representation for oneness with God and the unity of all things.

In Luca's work the Hunab-Ku essence represents the concept of healing the mind trough the spirit. This allignement with the pure essence of life allows freeing the mind and achieving highest personal potential.

Hunab Ku Meaning
Hunab Ku is an ancient Mayan symbol, associated with a philosophy of oneness with God and the unity of all things. In the ancient Yucatec language Hunab means “one state of being” and Ku means “God.”  Another translation of the name Hunab Ku is "The Only God."

In Mayan mythology, Hunab Ku represented the gateway to other galaxies beyond our Sun as well as a symbol for all the consciousness that has ever existed in our own galaxy. Hunab Ku was, to the Mayans, the supreme and ultimate Creator which, they believed, was indeed located in the center of the Milky Way galaxy. The Mayans believed that the ultimate Creator directed everything that happens in our galaxy from its center through the emanation of periodic energy bursts of consciousness.

Hunab Ku is the joining of opposites: masculine and feminine, analytical and intuitive, objective and subjective, yang and yin, conscious and unconscious, external and internal - the Hunab Ku acknowledges the abyss between opposing forces and offers a bridge between them.

Hunab Ku Symbol
The symbol we see today became widely known when Jose Arguelles published 'The Mayan Factor' in 1987, where it appears in circular form on the cover of the book, and as part of many illustrations. The Hunab Ku symbol was originally a rectangular symbol used by the Aztecs as a ritual cloak design, known as the Mantle of Spider Water. The symbol first appears in the Codex Magliabechiano -  a pictorial Aztec codex created during the mid-16th century (pictured here).
